“The vigour, boldness, elegance, joy, candour, outspokenness, the richness of [that] music miraculously renewed and refreshed in me the meaning of  life.”

G.D’Annunzio

MUSIC   is an occasion to get together with others and create business opportunities between the project’s supporters  and the most important local organisations in a variety of sectors.

Exclusive concerts, performed by musicians from prestigious national and international orchestras, in places of beauty and exceptional renown provoke a significant response from the public and make possible an extraordinary cultural experience.

The appeal of music also makes an invaluable contribution to personal development within a company, and reinforces attitudes of collaboration and shared objectives.

To sing in a choir or play together requires one to listen to others; only in this way is it possible to create harmony and beauty. Moreover, it is essential to follow the directions of the conductor who guides the entire ensemble.

Russian First Lady Svetlana Medvedeva was in Milan for the great concert "Beauty will save the World".

Among the leading personalities which attended the concert, the plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russian Federation Alexey Meshkov, Metropolitan Hilarion, President of the Milan provincial administration Guido Podestà, vice-mayor of Milan Maria Grazia Guida and some of the most important representatives of the international entrepreneurial world.

The initiative of SYNCRE srl and Accademia Musica Sacra has been realized in collaboration with the Foundation for social and cultural initiatives, whose Mrs. Medvedeva is President, and with the participation of the Department for External Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate.

The project occured within the official celebrations related to the year that has been dedicated to cultural exchanges between Italy and Russia.
Maestro Diego Montrone conducted the Orchestra Sinfonica Accademia Musica Sacra and the Moscow Synodal Choir. They performed religious pieces by S. Rachmaninov, G. Verdi, Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeev and Father Armando Pierucci,  organ player of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
The concert was preceded by an exclusive visit to the masterpiece of Leonardo da Vinci, “The Last Supper”.

The initiative earned general praise, paving the way for the birth of the Foundation Accademia Musica Sacra and for the continuation of the international path, started in 2009 with the concert among the Pinnacles of the Milan Cathedral and which led the Orchestra conducted by Maestro Montrone in Moscow (Cathedral of Christ the Saviour) and in Jerusalem (Catherine’s Basilica, close to the grotto of the Nativity, Christmas 2010).

The project 'Serenata al Vento' consists in a path of integration, which will be concluded with the first representation of the last premiere of Aldo Finzi. The première will take place on 1st of December 2012 in Teatro Donizetti of Bergamo.

Aldo Finzi was an Italian classical music composer (1897-1945), who was born in Milan into an old Jewish family. Serenata al Vento was composed by him for a competition at the Scala Theatre in 1937.
It had been evaluated as the best, but, because of the racial laws, the official announcement was never made and the prize never awarded.

In the last ten years, there has been a rediscovery of Aldo Finzi and his artistic production: today his music is performed around the world and finds great favour with audiences.
There remains just one composition, which is not only an unpublished work, but also a premiere and it is Serenata al Vento.
The realization of this Opera will finally be possible, thanks to the organization of specific laboratories, some in Milan (Lombardia, Italy), others in Jerusalem (Israel), and to the activity of well-supervised young students.
These laboratories will present an opportunity  for cooperation and comparison between different cultures, and moreover meditation on the tragic European events of the twentieth century.
Young people from different and far off countries will have the chance 'to build' something together: an opera, the perfect synthesis between passion and technique.

The initiative, which has an international background and a term of 20 months,  will be based on a combination of public and private funds. The project is indeed co-financed by the Lombardia Regional Government.
Its organizers are institutions of great weight in their respective fields – music, social theater,  relations with young people, workshops: GALDUS, JERUSALEM FOUNDATION and ACCADEMIA DELLE OPERE.
ESPRITHB deals with communication and marketing aspects of the project and SYNCRE is in charge of the fund-raising.
